The stricter medical term is Adiposis edematosa. It is not that scary. We call it “cellulite” and we hate it. Yes, we hate it. Cellulite, since its first appearance, does nothing but make life difficult and bitter: at the beach you can hear people laughing at you, and at home, you no longer feel free to help yourself to a delightful piece of cake.
Cosmetic companies are benefiting from our insecurities: they know that we can no longer do without their products, perhaps even of the less effective ones, and take the opportunity to raise prices by making them almost unaffordable. It really looks like a disastrous situation and, indeed, it is! Nonetheless, my dear friend, I never gave up. I asked for the right information, I consulted the best doctors and today I’m proud to show you the best homemade anti-cellulite creams.
1. DIY anti-cellulite cream with almond and grapefruit essential oil
All of the ingredients can be easily found at herbalist´s shops. You will need:
a) 12 ivy leaves;
b) 6 drops of essential almond oil;
c) 10 drops of essential grapefruit oil.
Preparation. Firstly, you have to put the 12 ivy leaves in a pot of boiling water for about 25 minutes. Let them rest for a quarter of an hour or so. Now, place the leaves in a blender and carefully add 6 drops of sweet almond oil. Neither a drop more nor one less. Finally, all you have to do is mix a little of the hot water in which you cooked the ivy leaves in a separate container with 24 cl of sweet almond oil and 10 drops of grapefruit essential oil.
Apply the ivy leaves on the body parts that are affected by cellulite and leave them for half an hour, waiting for them to take effect. You’re almost done: rinse with fresh water and rub the critical areas with almond and grapefruit oil for a long time.

a) 2 teaspoons of cooking salt;
b) the coffee ground of a moka pot for 4 people;
c) 4 teaspoons of bitter cocoa powder.
Massage the parts that are affected by cellulite with the solution you’ve obtained. Now, you just have to cover everything with the transparent film and leave it to take effect for a good half hour.
